|Yes, it does.
| Netscape-Collabra/3.52 17222 NNRP ready (posting ok).
|works fine as a server. There seems to be a problem with
| dnews DNEWS Version 5.0f, S1, posting OK
Could you tell me what does the server sayes about authentication
against HELP command which is like follows in INN:
% telnet news-server nntp
Escape character is '^]'.
200 localnews.etl.go.jp InterNetNews NNRP server INN 2.2.2 13-Dec-1999 ready (posting ok).
100 Legal commands
authinfo user Name|pass Password|generic <prog> <args>
It is possible that DNEWS requires another kind of authentication
|- logging in seems to be successful, but retrieving of group names fails.
|This may be due to bad / wrong authentication information on the DNEWS
|server, though (I have access to a Collabra server that carries the same
|information, so this is not a problem).
With -vv (or -vd) option, you can get the detailed command/response
log between DeleGate and NNTP-server like this:

Also you can peep what DeleGate and NNTP-server are talking with
delegated -Pxxxx -f SERVER=nntp://server FTOSV=-tee FFROMSV=-tee
