[DeleGate-En] Re: GUI Windows FTP Client

On 06/08/99(23:36) you "Steve Shockley" <pxeaqbdyi-a3dey5jxvelr.ml@ml.delegate.org> wrote
in <_A490@delegate-en.ML_>
 |I can get this to work if I run a separate DELEGATE process just for the
 |FTP, but if I try to use my "regular" DeleGate process on port 80, it
 |doesn't work. My command line is:
 |start "DeleGate Proxy" /MIN delegated -v -P10.1.1.250:80 PERMIT="*:*:*"
 |EXPIRE=30d

Without a SERVER parameter, DeleGate works as a HTTP proxy (like with
SERVER=http). "HTTP proxy" is a proxy which talks with its clients
in HTTP protocol. Thus you cannot use a HTTP proxy for FTP clients.

Cheers,
Yutaka
