[DeleGate-En] Re: NNTP access via a HTTP -- FTP proxy
03 Oct 2003 03:22:06 GMT Gandhi Mukul <plmeqbdyi-ytjem43ngilr.ml@ml.delegate.org>

Dear Mr. Yutaka,
  Below is the command line I have tried (without MYAUTH parameter) --

dg8_6_5 -v -P119 SERVER=nntp://news.server SSLTUNNEL=pxhost:port ADMIN=you

When I give request from my News Reader,
I get the following trace on DeleGate console --

(WIN) 17:20 [291] spawn() = 272 [200], children(alive=1,total=1)
10/03 08:47:20.80 [200] 1+0: (0) accepted [17]

As you rightly said, our proxy-server seems to forbid access to non HTTPS
server like NNTP server..

When I provide MYAUTH parameter and give request from the News Reader, I get
the following trace --

10/01 09:08:33.63 [271] 1+0: MYAUTH=mukulg:**** for http-proxy::0
10/01 09:08:33.63 [271] 1+0: SSL-TUNNEL<< news.server:119
10/01 09:08:34.28 [271] 1+0: SSL-TUNNEL>> HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden^M

Regards,
Mukul
