[DeleGate-En] Re: any ip address via proxy server
06 Jun 2003 01:43:30 GMT sn <p5eeabdyi-kvvvzvfz4r3r.ml@ml.delegate.org>

Hi All
I recently came accross delegate when I search for
some low level of mac
 address manipulation .
Basically my scenarios is like this:
let say one of the notebook ip
is 172.16.0.3 , netmask is 255.255.255.0 ,gateway is
172.16.0.1

so if my ip for the gateway server is 192.168.0.1
netmask is 255.255.255.0
then the notebook sure cannot go through the internet
via this gateway
(since their are not in the same ip network )

            client a (172.16.0.3)
                |
                |
                |
                | 192.168.0.1(internal
                ----------- Gateway A
                | 202.188.0.5(external
                |
                |
                |
            client b(10.0.0.40)

how does the client a and b to go through the gateway
without enable their
dhcp client or change their ip to the same network as
the gateway A
I found these very interesting ...
best regards
sean
